Reiki (ray-key) is a technique that aids the body in releasing stress and tension by creating deep relaxation.

Reiki Origins

The word Reiki is made of two Japanese words - Rei which means "the Wisdom of God or the Higher Power" and Ki which is means 'life force energy.' Reiki means 'spiritually guided life force energy.' The Reiki system of healing is a technique for transmitting this subtle energy to yourself and others through the hands into the human energy system. Reiki restores energy balance and vitality by relieving the physical and emotional effects of unreleased stress. It gently and effectively opens blocked meridians, nadas and chakras, and clears the energy bodies, leaving one feeling relaxed and at peace.

Distance Reiki

Distance Reiki works according to an ancient principle called the Hermetic Law of Similarity, which holds that we are all connected, as we are all made of energy and part of a larger whole. Invoking this law during a distance Reiki session allows the practitioner to link up to the energy field of the recipient.

What can I expect from a Reiki treatment?

Typically a single treatment session will last 45–90 minutes. During a treatment, the clients remain fully clothed. Reiki is an effective alternative, or complement to other healing modalities/therapies. Reiki supports any medical, or supplemental healing methods a client may be using.

How does Reiki work?

Reiki treats the person’s body, emotions, mind and spirit as a whole. Reiki is a nurturing, simple yet profoundly potent and safe method of spiritual healing and self-improvement that everyone can use.

As a level two Reiki practitioner I am able to provide distance healing as well as in person sessions.

Is there a difference between distance and in-person sessions?

Distance Reiki involves intention, visualization, and focused meditation to connect with the recipient's energy field, transcending time and space. This approach allows for remote healing, making it a flexible and effective way to promote well-being and healing when physical proximity is not possible.

In-person Reiki sessions involve the practitioner physically touching or placing hands near the recipient's body to channel healing energy. This direct contact allows for immediate connection and a sensory experience that enhances relaxation and healing.
